Interview By Megan Brooks

All Things Music
For the fans that haven't heard of you or haven't even heard a song what do they need to know about you?
Chase Miller
I am from Southern California, I am a country music artist, and I am 26 years old.

All Things Music

What are your musical influences is there a song by the artist a whole album or just there whole catalog of music that draws you to them?Chase Miller
I listen to some many different genres of music, this is really hard to answer. I love Def Leppard and they are one of my favorite bands.  I absolutely love all of their music.  They have got amazing lyrics, great guitar riffs, and bring a high energy show.  If I had to choose a modern day country artist that influences me I would have to say Florida Georgia Line for the same reasons I love Def Leppard so much.  As a country artist I feel that it can be tough to make good music AND bring a high energy show that can compare to a rock concert, and Florida Georgia Line has accomplished that every time I have seen them live.

All Things Music

What is your favorite song you've recorded, what makes it important to you? (Obviously most people say there single here and it might be, but feel free to pick a personal track and talk about it)Chase Miller
Give You The World is probably my favorite track on my EP.  It comes from the heart and was meant to inspire people in relationships to reach for long term goals and keep that spark alive.  Sometimes people hold back from expressing how much they love their significant other in relationship.  I believe you should lay it all out on the table and embrace it.

All Things Music
If you could open up for three people alive or dead who would it be and where?(Feel free to explain why)Chase Miller
-  Florida Georgia Line so that I could get to know them and pick their brain about music business (assuming I was opening for them on tour).
- Kenny Chesney because it would be an honor to open for someone with that many hit songs.
- Motley Crue, I have a ton of respect for Nikki Sixx and would love to experience being on stage with a bunch of Crue fans in the audience.  I know their fans are intense and it would definitely be an experience.

All Things Music
Outside of music what are your favorite hobbies, also any favorite sports or sports teams?Chase Miller
I am from Southern California so the ocean plays a big part of my life.  My favorite hobbies include bodyboarding, photography, and snowboarding.  As far as sport teams, I am a San Fransisco Giants fan.

All Things Music Interviews With To Trust A Liar And Wings Of Pegasus

When we started this music page we wanted it to appeal and cover all genres, well that doesn't really cover what I personally listen to so its time for me to go way out of my personal music bubble and include a couple of pop/metal bands. While adventuring outside of my bubble I also decided, Why do just one? I'm going all in on pop/metal today and posting two interviews at one time brought to you by All Things Music contributor Harold Wilson. Harold recently got interview with both To Trust A Liar and Wing Of Pegasus and we decided them to bring them to you on the same day. Thanks a lot for reading Ill do my best to bring a wide range of musical genres please like and share our page and enjoy the upcoming interviews !

Forward By Robert Brooks

Both Interviews By Harold Wilson

To Trust A Liar

All Things Music
For the fans that haven't heard of you or haven't even heard a song what do they need to know about you?
To Trust A Liar
People should know before listening that each song that To Trust a Liar creates is carefully crafted and has its own identity and sound.

All Things Music
What are your musical influences is there a song by the artist a whole album or just there whole catalog of music that draws you to them?
To Trust A Liar
For me, (Collin) I mainly listen to Metalcore for the song structures. But when it comes to vocals I lean towards what the band Coheed and Cambria come up with for inspiration.

All Things Music
What is your favorite song you've recorded, what makes it important to you? (Obviously most people say there single here and it might be, but feel free to pick a personal track and talk about it)
To Trust A Liar
Our whole first EP, "The Mountains We Climb" means the absolute world to me. I put a lot into writing that EP, and it's something I will always go back and listen to when I feel down in the dumps. It was really the band's first professional attempt at something and people really enjoyed it.

All Things Music
If you could open up for three people alive or dead who would it be and where?(Feel free to explain why)
To Trust A Liar
Honestly I'd want to wait for the afterlife to see what and who I'll see to see something that is alive.

All Things Music
Outside of music what are your favorite hobbies, also any favorite sports or sports teams?
To Trust A Liar
I love playing video games and hanging out with my girlfriend.

Wings Of Pegasus

All Things Music
For the fans that haven't heard of you or haven't even heard a song what do they need to know about you?
Wings Of Pegasus
We're a rock/hard rock band from just outside London in England. We're unsigned so we have the freedom to talk with everyone who contacts us! We also have our debut album called 'Persistence' on itunes and Amazon, as well as at the band website https://t.co/KJSZaAMdlO.
All Things Music
What are your musical influences is there a song by the artist a whole album or just there whole catalog of music that draws you to them?
Wings Of Pegasus
As musical influences goes, mostly 80's bands like Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Winger, Def Leppard, Van Halen etc etc. Personally for me listening to Jimi Hendrix was the reason I picked up the guitar so there's that too!

All Things Music
What is your favorite song you've recorded, what makes it important to you? (Obviously most people say there single here and it might be, but feel free to pick a personal track and talk about it)
Wings Of Pegasus
It's hard to choose a favourite track as I like them all for different reasons. I hope people can listen and decide for themselves which their favourite is, that's good enough for me!

All Things Music
If you could open up for three people alive or dead who would it be and where?(Feel free to explain why)
Wings Of Pegasus
Probably Jimi Hendrix, just to see him! Queen to see Freddie Mercury, and Winger just because I've seen them live a lot and am a fan!

All Things Music
Outside of music what are your favorite hobbies, also any favorite sports or sports teams?
Wings Of Pegasus
I like to work out, play football and watch it, I support Tottenham Hotspur. I watch a lot of movies and game on my ps4 now and again, but I'm mostly doing music when I can outside of work hours!

All Things Music Interview With Lisa Nicole

When starting our site we were looking to help promote local music venues, along with finding talent that others might have over looked. Most Americans wouldn't think of Canada as a place to find country music, after all we have Nashville. What more do we need, right? Well apparently, we could use Canada, just like pop/rock needs England. For us, that's where Lisa Nicole slides right in. She has the softness that girls like Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood seem to be searching for. While having a very intriguing amount of untapped power in her vocals that really comes out in her live performances. On youtube you can find covers where you can't help but think she shows more feeling, then the original singer. That kind of passion just can't go unnoticed. So when trying to compare, we really can't. She's a really good mix, of a lot of things. We are very excited to see what she brings in the future !

All Things Music
For the fans that haven't heard of you or haven't even heard a song what do they need to know about you?Lisa Nicole
I'm definitely not a trend follower - so if you want some fresh female country music you should dig my stuff! I write and sing
a lot about my own experiences, so all my songs are truthful.

All Things Music
What are your musical influences is there a song by the artist a whole album or just there whole catalog of music that draws you to them?Lisa Nicole
Definitely, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and even Taylor swift. Miranda because of her amazing lyrics and frisky songs, example "Mama's Broken Heart". Carrie for her power vocals and rock edge - her new album is amazing! And a bit of Taylor, I love how she stepped out of the box with her "country" music. She's definitely pop now, but I loved the songs from her Red album, like the big sounds in "Trouble".
All Things Music
What is your favorite song you've recorded, what makes it important to you? (Obviously most people say there single here and it might be, but feel free to pick a personal track and talk about it)Lisa Nicole
It's a song I recorded this week actually called "Come Find Me". It's that track I never wrote when I was going through a break up and years later I'm going to put it out there. I don't have a release date quite yet so you'll have to stay posted!

All Things Music
If you could open up for three people alive or dead who would it be and where? (Feel free to explain why)Lisa Nicole
There are so many legends out there. Shania Twain; she was a big influence of mine growing up! Brad Paisley and/or Keith Urban - every song they record is golden! And there are a few Brad Paisley songs that I would totally dance to at my wedding so maybe one day I'll open up for Brad Paisley and my husband to be can propose to me somehow.... haha gotta dream right?!

All Things Music
Outside of music what are your favorite hobbies, also any favorite sports or sports teams?Lisa Nicole
I'm big into health and fitness! I work out at the gym 5 days a week and go for hikes or Hot Yoga in between (depending on the weather). And I love cooking healthy delicious meals! In the Fall my family is big into hunting so I've done that here and there since before I could walk, getting more into it each year! And scrapbooking.. I have like 7 over filled scrapbooks!
No for sports :| I would go nuts if I just had to sit on a coach and watch a hockey game for 3 hours.

Ashley Taylor Interview With All Things Music

Ever been listening to country music and wish the girls had a bit more musical ability and didn't just hide behind a microphone. Ashley Taylor might be just what your looking for her single right now is  Play Like Ken and this girl means it. She's from Bakersfield which might has well be known as the Nashville of the West Coast with the likes of Dwight Yoakam Merle Haggard and Red Simpson all calling Bakersfield home. That town just can't be beat when it comes to country music and there own style and sound ! With that being said Ashley brings all that and her guitar to the table, if I had to compare her to anyone in country music right now it'd be Clare Dunn who I have a ton of respect for. I hope everyone enjoys reading this interview and takes the time to listen to her music.

All Things Music
For the fans that haven't heard of you or haven't even heard a song what do they need to know about you?

I would say my favorite song that I've ever recorded is a song I wrote about my stepdad! It's a song called "Dad To Me" ! It is definitely the most personal song I've ever written! You see I was abandoned by my biological dad and that song tells the story of mine and my stepdad's relationship! He is such a great guy and I am so happy that I get to call him my dad!

All Things Music
If you could open up for three people alive or dead who would it be and where?(Feel free to explain why)

I would love to hang out with her and if she wanted after the show to write a song I would be more than down! LOL

Husky Burnette is a gritty very bluesy style performer that if you get a chance and take time to listen to his music you want to learn more about him and the songs. After securing our first interview with The Legendary Shack Shakers we were very excited about our interview with Husky Burnette the reason being was that actually do a collaboration on Burnettes upcoming album. Which we hope to do a follow up interview about with Husky Burnette soon ! We hope you enjoy this one and take a listen to some of his music he's a nice guy and has great music.

All Things Music
For the fans that haven't heard of you or haven't even heard a song what do they need to know about you?
Husky Burnette
I'm a solo/independent artist, blues/rock & roll singer and guitarist, and I front a 3 piece band. I've got two albums out (Facedown In The Dirt, Tales From East End Blvd.). We tour over half the year and we play somewhere, locally or out of town, every single week, every single year. In 2013 I signed to the Rusty Knuckles record label and I'm about to release my third album in February, entitled Ain't Nothin' But A Revival!.
All Things Music
What are your musical influences? Is there a song by the artist a whole album or just there whole catalog of music that draws you to them?
Husky Burnette
That's a tricky question...and a long answer. I'll go ahead and apologize now for it being lengthy...
My love for music in general leads me on so many paths that it's hard to nail down just one artist/band/album/musician. Even to nail down 20 is a task! I primarily grew up on a lot of black music and it started at a pretty young age. Whether it was funk, soul, rhythm and blues, hip-hop, I was drawn to "the groove" and "the vibe". If it made me bob my head I liked it. First it was James Brown, then Chuck Berry, then Jr Walker and the Allstars. They were different than what I knew to be on the local rock station. Then my uncle turned me on to white artists like Leon Russell (another idol of mine) and Lee Michaels who were basically playing soul-influenced piano/organ rock & roll. That changed the game for me. I now had a true love for all things soul/funk/groove. That's why I was drawn to blues so much...it had a groove. But then a local college radio station led me to early blues and that opened up a whole new list of influences: Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Son House, Robert Johnson, the list goes on and on. Jimi Hendrix "Band Of Gypsys" is one of my favorite albums ever. It's got it all: blues, groove, rock, everything. When I started playing lead guitar for Roger Alan Wade that opened my eyes to singer/songwriters. Roger Alan Wade is my hero, definitely one of my influences because he taught me so much about writing and the business. I love lyrics and deep meanings as well so I'm influenced by cats like Guy Clark, Kris Kristofferson, Townes Van Zandt, etc. Simply put, I draw influence and inspiration from all music and all artists. There's just so much out there.
All Things Music
What is your favorite song you've recorded, what makes it important to you?
Husky Burnette
That's a tough one. Probably "Kick Rocks", "Southbound/High Head" or "36 Degrees". All 3 tunes are on the new upcoming album and each have a special place. Kick Rocks is the first single and it's just a fun, amped up, hill-country, rocking tune. Col JD from Legendary Shack Shakers played harmonica on it and killed it. I just love that song so much for it's fun, classic sound. Southbound was a last minute tune I wrote right before we hit the studio and it's one of the most stomping rock & roll songs I've recorded...it's just different than my other stuff somehow and that's why it's important. 36 Degrees is way different than my normal style of writing....more of a slow ballad-like song. It's important to me because of the subject matter. It's about a hard time in my life, getting through it and the transition from hard, fast living to slowing it down. Plus it's so different than my other songs so that in itself makes it special.
All Things Music
If you could open up for three people alive or dead who would it be and where?(Feel free to explain why)
Husky Burnette
1. Jimi Hendrix anywhere. He's one of my idols.
2. Buddy Guy in my hometown, Chattanooga, TN, at the Tivoli Theater Aprill 11th 2016. Because that would be a dream come true since I idolize him and his playing so much. And because that would be freaking awesome to do in my hometown!
3. Muddy Waters because he was a slick dude. Everything he did had that groove, that vibe, whether he was playing, singing, standing still smoking a cigarette or just walking down the street. Dude was slick. Definitely one of my idols!
All Things Music
Outside of music what are your favorite hobbies, also any favorite sports or sports teams?
Husky Burnette
I like to write. I've been writing blogs for the label's blog page lately and I'm really enjoying it. Other than that I guess I don't have any hobbies other than music. My hobby and passion is my job so I'm good at that.As far as sports goes, my teams are Georgia Bulldogs (football and basketball), Green Bay Packers, Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox.
